AMSI is a volunteer-driven initiative that develops practical, consensus-based standards to improve the quality and inclusivity of support services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).           

 

Our standards are based on real-world experience and are created independently by professionals who see the everyday needs of the field. They provide clear expectations, measurable outcomes, and practical tools that make inclusion both real and sustainable.

 

AMSI is a pro bono, independent initiative — not a registered legal entity — dedicated to strengthening support services and ensuring individuals with IDD can thrive as valued members of their communities.
